Product Description

WATER BLOCK M33 is a transparent, solvent-based silicone waterproofing treatment designed for the long-term protection of absorbent surfaces without affecting their aesthetic appearance.

It offers excellent penetration without forming a surface film or blocking the pores of the material, allowing the treated surface to remain breathable.

It creates an effective protective barrier with excellent resistance to water, pollutants, moisture penetration, dust, salts, acid rain, alkalis, ageing, frost and high temperatures.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.

It can also be used as a primer before applying silicone-based paints.

Surfaces treated with WATER BLOCK M33 can be easily cleaned with water without leaving marks or stains.

Surface Preparation

• Surfaces must be completely dry and clean, free from oil, loose material, dust, rust and contaminants.
• New surfaces should first be thoroughly cleaned with a wet sponge and allowed to dry completely.
• Old and stained stone surfaces can be cleaned with OXY CLEAN CL 17.
• Large surfaces can be cleaned using a pressure washer.
• Marble surfaces should be cleaned with OXY CLEAN CL 22.
• New tile joints should be waterproofed 7–10 days after grouting, once thoroughly cleaned and completely dry.
• Existing tile joints should be thoroughly cleaned and allowed to dry completely.
• Large gaps in joints should first be filled with CERAFIX AND GROUT.
• Painted surfaces and solvent-sensitive materials, such as joint sealants, bituminous materials and polystyrene, should be protected during application.

Application

Mix the product thoroughly before and during application.

WATER BLOCK M33 can be applied using:

• Brush
• Roller
• Garden sprayer, particularly for vertical surfaces

When spraying, apply the product evenly. On highly absorbent surfaces, a second coat is recommended before the first coat has completely dried.

Before spraying, protect windows, doors, plants and surrounding surfaces.

Due to variations in materials and application conditions, a suitability test on a small, inconspicuous area is recommended before full application.
