Product Description

WATER BLOCK M33 is a transparent, solvent-based silicone waterproofing treatment designed for the long-term protection of absorbent surfaces without affecting their aesthetic appearance.

It is suitable for natural and artificial stone, tile joints, unglazed cotto / terracotta ceramic tiles, decorative bricks, roof tiles, marble and other absorbent construction surfaces.

Thanks to its excellent penetrating properties, it penetrates the substrate without forming a surface film or blocking the pores, allowing the treated surface to breathe.

It creates an effective protective barrier with excellent resistance to water, pollutants, moisture penetration, dust, salts, acid rain, alkalis, ageing, frost and high temperatures.

Suitable for horizontal and vertical surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be completely dry and clean, free from oil, loose material, dust, rust and other contaminants.

• New surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with a wet sponge and allowed to dry completely.
• Old and stained stone surfaces can be cleaned with OXY CLEAN CL 17.
• For marble surfaces, OXY CLEAN CL 22 is recommended.
• New tile joints should be waterproofed 7–10 days after grouting.
• Existing joints should be thoroughly cleaned and allowed to dry completely.
• Large gaps in joints should first be filled with CERAFIX AND GROUT.
• Painted surfaces and solvent-sensitive materials such as sealants, bituminous materials and polystyrene should be protected during application.

Application

Mix the product thoroughly before and during application.

Apply using:

• Brush
• Roller
• Garden sprayer, particularly for vertical surfaces

For highly absorbent surfaces, a second coat is recommended before the first coat has completely dried.

Before spraying, protect windows, doors, plants and surrounding surfaces.

Due to differences in materials and application conditions, a suitability test on a small area is recommended before full application.
