Product Description

Vario is a jointing compound for plasterboard, primarily intended for jointing fire-resistant constructions. It is mixed with clean water to form a creamy consistency suitable for both initial and finishing joint applications.

Approximately 2.5 litres of water are required for 5 kg of Vario. The prepared mixture has a working time of approximately 40 minutes.

Application

1. Pre-Jointing: Press the compound into the joint with a trowel and smooth the surface.
2. Once hardened, remove any excess material with a spatula.
3. Final Jointing: Apply the finishing layer over the hardened pre-jointed surface.
4. If required, an additional fine finishing layer can be applied.
5. Once fully hardened, any uneven areas can be sanded to achieve a smooth finish.
