Product Description

ASPHALTOS is a ready-to-use cold mix asphalt designed for quick, localised repairs of asphalt and concrete pavements.

It offers high flexibility and resistance to cracking caused by expansion and contraction, together with excellent adhesion to the substrate and resistance to vehicle traffic. It also provides high resistance to weather conditions and ageing.

The product is easy to apply without mixing, special equipment or extensive substrate preparation. Once properly compacted, the repaired surface can be re-opened to traffic immediately.

Application Instructions

The area to be repaired must be clean and free from dust, grease, loose material and standing water. For repairs deeper than 10 cm, it is recommended to apply sand and gravel and compact the surface before application.

The mixture is ready to use and does not require agitation or mixing. Fill the pothole with ASPHALTOS to approximately 1–2 cm above the surrounding surface and compact thoroughly using a shovel, roller or even the tyres of a vehicle.

Once compacted, the repaired surface can be driven over immediately.

Storage

Store for up to 12 months from the production date in the original sealed container, in dry, frost-free conditions and protected from direct sunlight.

The product can be used in various weather conditions, including snow, frost and heat, except in wet conditions.
